About Me

I've spent more than 30 years leading in complex environments — across defence, government, community and cross-agency settings. I've led at every level: on the ground, across agencies, and at the table where strategy gets made. I've navigated genuinely hard problems, worked across cultures and borders, and learned what it takes to bring people together when the stakes are real.
What's always guided me is a belief that good leadership is thoughtful, human and focused on what actually matters. I've had the privilege of working alongside extraordinary people, and some of my most important lessons have come from getting things wrong and having the grace of others to help me find my way.
Learning has always run alongside my work. I hold a Master of Management (Human Resources), am a credentialled executive coach (Coach Masters Academy), a PROSCI Change Management Practitioner, and a Company Directors Course graduate (New Zealand Institute of Directors).
Outside of work, you'll find me teaching yoga, travelling, or on long walks with good friends, refilling the tank so I can do this work well.
I'm also co-founder and Chair of Women of Pōneke, a registered Charitable Trust with the purpose of connecting and uplifting the women of Wellington.
